My name is Michael Myers and I started collecting in the mid 1960's in Ohio, with an interest in American Brilliant Cut Glass. It soon expanded into Early American Pattern Glass and the glass of the A. H. Heisey Glass Company in Newark, Ohio, since I lived in the area. My passion soon overtook my space, and after many years I had to find another way to make room. So after moving to Texas, I rented space at an indoor flea market in Dallas. This way I could sell items to make room at home for more coming in. That experience soon led to working in other antique malls and shops. I have worked in shops as an employee and as an owner since then with malls in Texas, Tennessee and here in Florida where I now reside. I have scaled back somewhat with just antique mall space, selling through GoAntiques.com and their Live Auctions. I still specialize in American Glassware but other appropriate antiques and collectibles seem to be coming along for the ride as well. My whole house is furnished in items from the past.
