American Room Antiques
In 1985 the late George Adams Sr., lifelong collector and dealer in antiques joined with his sons George Jr. and Samuel to establish American Room Antiques.
Our first shop was located in historic Middleburg, VA in the beautiful Virginia hunt country. Our notion that people wanted to furnish their homes with fine period antiques proved a success. We took to the road selling at fine antique shows up and down the east coast of the United States.
More recently, we opened a new shop located in a restored barn at our home in Chambersburg, PA. The shop is named Aqua Studio/American Room Antiques in recognition of the historic name of the locality,a valley which has many pure springs that feed the picturesque Falling Spring Branch, a well known trout stream, visited by many U.S. presidents from nearby Camp David.
Just as from the beginning, our goal is to provide our clients fine, authentic and usable period furnishings and accessories.
