Meissen Porcelain Chocolate Pot & Underplate

Included here is an antique gilded and enamelled Meissen porcelain chocolate pot and matching plate. Plate measures 8" by 8" by 1" and pot measures 10.75" by 7.5" by 5.25". Total weight is 3 lbs. 8 oz. There is a small chip from the corner of the plate which has been regilded, and a repair break to the underside of the lid of the pot. There are no other repairs or damages. This item comes from a family which has been collecting European porcelain for four generations. It resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York city and may be seen by appointment.
