The Gorham Medallion pattern (1864 ) buckwheat pancake server is 9" long; weighs 4 ounces on the stamp scale ; and in very fine condition except for a very small ding on the end point as seen in our pictures. The engraving and face are crisp and clear . The server was made by the Gorham Co and retailed by Tiffany and Co of New York city. This is a piece not often seen ; rare ; unusual , and part of a very large collection of the pattern , all old pieces soon to be listed .
