"Fair Winds" plate set of 4 by Alfred Meakin, Staffordshire, England. Brown transfer pattern of ships, depicting the "George Washington at Anchor", part of the series of "Historical Scenes of Chinese Export to America". Measure 8"d, salad plates. Made before 1971. No chips, cracks or stains; very good condition. Sold as a set of 4. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
