McCoy Yorkville Rooster Pitcher Cookie Jar

Vintage pitcher shaped cookie jar made by McCoy in their Yorkville style. The bottom part of the pitcher is cream colored, and the top is brown drip. A decal of a rooster in a floral ring is on one side, and the other side is blank. On the bottom is a variation of the McCoy Mark No. 5, which was originally used from 1940-1945, although this variation was used later. This pitcher was made in 1974 and identified as style No. 0192 on page 28 of The Collector's Encyclopedia of McCoy Pottery by Sharon and Bob Huxford (copyright 1980). It is in excellent condition.
