Cigar ashtray from the fabled restaurant Maxim's of Paris.
This is not the typical souvenir ashtray often seen. It was made as part of the china service and decorated with pink ribbons and a gold M, just like their plates.
MARKED - Villenauxe en Champagne and Made in France as shown in photo.
Measures 4-1/2 x 2-3/8 x 3/4 inches deep.
Very Good condition. No chips, cracks, dings or repairs found. Some slight gold wear.
