Maxfield Parish self portrait. A quirky cartoon rendition, called "The Dark Futurist", signed and dated even the cost of Life Magazine then 15 cents. The print measures 15.5 inches long, and 11 inches wide. In very good condition, a small piece of paper missing on the upper right corner, and there is a discoloration on the upper and lower edge of the print due to some old masking tape, the tape is no longer there, but the discoloration is, all on the back side, otherwise in near mint condition. The paper is a heavy glossy paper like Life Magazine covers of old, but is not torn from a magazine. I have had a couple of other dealers look at it and everybody says it is original.
