This vintage child's toy cap gun by Mattel is their Fanner 50 model made to shoot perforated rolls of caps. Its revolver was not designed to spin or shoot shells. It has a silver metal finish that shows wear from play and a white plastic handle with an antelope head on each side. It is marked on the side "Fanner 50" and bears the Mattel logo. Its hammer and trigger are in excellent working condition and the cap chamber is clean as new (maybe the previous owner wasn't allowed to play with caps!) It comes with its original black rubbery plastic holster which is marked "Lone Ranger" with the Mattel Fanner logo and one bullet shell. It is missing its leg tie down and its buckle has light age wear but overall this is a neat 1950's toy.
