MATEOS MEXICO BLACK POTTERY VASE 9" tall with etched fish motif   This is a magnificent black clay folk art pottery pot

 by master potters  the La Familia Mateos of Mexico. This is a hand thrown pot that has been scored or etched and then fired with Eucalyptus leaves to get the rich black color. This is a one of a kind gorgeous piece of artwork. It measures 9" tall and 8.5 " at the bulge.   It is in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks,  and very little signs of wear.

It is singed on the bottom

The dimensions and weight posted below are the approximate size of the packaging to calculate the shipping.   Please refer to the description for the actual size of the item.  The shipping quoted includes the handling, insurance and delivery confirmation.  To give you an idea on shipping of a particular item please refer to the size and weight.   I ship from Seattle, Zip Code 98103.      Most items will be sent USPS Priority Mail despite the website's auto calculation for FED EX Ground.  The shipping weight and size on many of the older inventory is not filled in.  Please ask me to avoid surprises.    In addition some of the older inventory may have an outdated shipping quote that many need to update.    Please send me an email for updated shipping information.
