Beautifully Carved and painted Creche figures of Mary and Joseph. Gessoed and polychrome painted, glass eyes and at one time eyelashes. These are Spanish Colonial in origin and thought to be late 19th c. - c. 1900. Overall in good condition for age. Some minor finger issues but this is not unusual for older Santos style carvings. Both figures are 8 1/2" h. , 4 1/4" w. and 4 3/4" d., beautiful detail
