Image of Jesus made in the technique of marquetry. Reminiscent of the "Veil of Veronica" bearing the image of Christ. Multiple shades of natural woods with a clear protective coat. No marks, unknown date. Measures 12 7/8" x 21 5/8". Small chip to the veneer on the backside of the lower corner as shown; does not show on the top surface of the piece. Sold as is.
