New York: Harper & Brothers, 1924. (L-Y) Additional print run of first edition. Mark Twain dictated his autobiography in 1905-06. It is an honest and candid account of his life and personality intended for posthumous publication.
It was put out in two volumes by Harper in 1924.
Measures: 6-1/2 x 9-1/2 inch
368 pg., 365 pg.
Bound in dark blue ribbed cloth with Twains signature in gold. Gilt pages top edge. Frontispiece photos of the author late in life.
Good condition. Some rippling on the spine. Usual wear to spine and edges. Scuffs on boards. Binding tight, pages clean. Owners name in ink ffe.
Overall very attractive and a must for the Twain aficionado.
