San Ildefonso early blackware bowl, by Maria and Julian Martinez, second quarter of the 20th century. Narrow base with sloping shoulders and inverted rim. Painted in avanyu motif around the rim, in matte with highly polished black slip. Signed on the base Marie. In good condition, some missing paint, small chip on the rim.
