An impressive French gilt brass clock. A gothic gallery to the pediment with silver and gilt panels and finials. Corinthium capped silver and gilt decorative side columns. Porcelain panels to the case and standing on the original velvet lined gilt wood plinth. A porcelain dial with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1890. Height 14" / 36cms Width 9 1/2 "/ 24cms Depth 5 " / 14cms.
