In handpainted over glaze ceramic, this is an 8.5" tall pair of salt and pepper shakers depicting a black Mammy and Chef. There is some paint loss on the back of the red skirt and a little here and there, but otherwise in excellent condition. Original corks and paper label attest to the age of this pair.
