Light Mezzo engraving that has lithographic sketch qualities. Printed by F. Hull. Full Boarders. Backed with thick paper and linen. In very good condition. Signature of Bucknall-Estcourt in ink. 42 x 56 cm. James Bucknall Estcourt (1802-1855), Major-General. Appointed adjutant-general to the Crimean expeditionary force in February 1854. Was held responsible for the sufferings of the British troops in the Crimea. Died of cholera on 21 June 1855.
