Relief and intaglio molded tile by Sherwin & Cotton, depicting Charles Dickens reading, pattern No. M377. The tile is finished in a bright green glaze. It is in very good/good condition with glaze bruises and pocks as shown; light right edge roughness; small right edge nick about midway up and small upper right corner nick.
