Great majolica humidor in the form of the head of an Asian girl wearing a conical hat.
Her tunic is purple and her hat is made of pink feathers. Her hair, or is it draping? is very light aqua.
Marked on the bottom with numbers 4955/ 91. No other marks. Possibly German or Austrian.
Circa early 1900s
The base measures 3-5/8 x 3-3/8 x 3-1/2 inches tall
Lid measures 4-3/8 x 2
Overall 5 1/2 inches tall
Good condition. There are six chips around the rim of the lid, one large, as seen in photos. There are also glaze chips. One chip near top rim of base on left side. And one at the very top of her hat.
