An Original Finish that has been cleaned and polished down to it's excellent original finish shows some interesting Asian details in the use of the pierced fence around the bottom shelf, the notched arch and the spruce framed door. There are several panels of antique style velvet as details, and a very interesting convex glass mirror below. The details in the moldings and turnings are crisp and well detailed. Original brass escutcheon on the door. We are having a key made for the lock. The original finish has a few apologies: a crack about 10:00 on the frame of the mirror (as seen below) and an area where the hanger screws cracked a chip on the top shelf. Neither are serious problems. We did add new hangers for the cupboard on the back, so it is ready to hang again.
