This small mahogany table is designed to have the top tilt when not in use. These were often referred to as tea tables and were used when serving beverages. The table has a lovely shaped top. There are 2 very minor glass rings on the top. The table retains its original cast brass latching mechanism. The slender center pedestal is turned and has finely carved acanthus leaves extending down the three legs. Notice the delicately carved paw feet. The table is in excellent condition, having a deep, rich color and patina.
