Solid Mahogany square stand with barley twist turned legs and cross stretcher. The feet are cast brass with wooden balls grasped by the talons. This is a large size parlor table. The unusual twist turned legs are a style well used by Merklen Bros. in their furniture pieces. The cast brass feet and wooden balls are their signature trademark. This is one of their plainer styles, but still a Merklen.
