This mahogany barrister bookcase was made by the Skandic Furniture Co. of Rockford, IL. They are called the Viking model. The bookcase consists of 6 separate pieces. There is the cap, 4 separate glass door units and the base. All the units have glass fronts which lift up and slide back to access inside. All have their original glass and brass pulls. Three of the units will take books up to 10” tall and the 4th unit will store books up to 12” tall. The bookcase retains its original finish which is in very good condition.
