This handsome, solid mahogany desk has some unusual features. Its oval shaped top has a long drawer on each side which means it can serve as a partners desk if desired. Each drawer retains its original working lock. The solid brass pulls are replacements. The top is supported by end columns each having a pair of highly carved standing roaring lions or griffons on boldly carved paw feet with an oval shaped panel between them. The desk rests on its original casters. The finish is in excellent condition.
