This is VINTAGE New Orleans! The cover drawing of this Kid Ory record is "Mardi gras" by Irene Trivas. The LP was recorded August of 1956, in Hollywood. Included in this collection are When the Saints Go Marching In, Maple Leaf Rag, Wolverine Blues, That's a Plenty, Muskrat Ramble, Clarinet Marmalade, Gettysburg March, Yellow Dog Blues, and I found a New Baby. On the back of the cover is an article entitled "How I Wrote Muskrat Ramble" by Kid Ory himself. Also shown are two recipes from the Ory Creole Cook Book--Creole Gumbo File and Shrimp Jambalaya. The record looks like it has been played very little, but the cover does show some wear. We do not charge a handling fee for shipping, just first class or priority mail depending on where you live.
