This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an electric streetcar and a woman holding a lightning bolt. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President and Secretary and is over 104 years old.
Certificate Vignette The Louisville Railway Company was formed in 1890 by the merger of two earlier streetcar lines. It operated streetcars in Louisville and Jefferson County until 1948.
