Beautiful Louis XVI chest C.1890-1910 of walnut with large walnut burl panels surrounded by inlaid satinwood and mahogany around each. Three smaller matching panels above the larger.The chest sides are convex,then concave on the graceful sides and flair wider at the wall. Ornate brass small trim outlines the panels. Four Brass mounts below the taupe with mixed darker taupe and cream marble top scrolled to fit the rounded top. Additional brass mounts on the knees and feet as well as center bottom. Tiny brass knobs on the top drawer. The large interior cabinet below has working lock and key. All in excellent condition with no chips,cracks or nicks. Measures 35L at the back,25.5 inches at front,35.5H X 19D.
