I am selling my store inventory and will sell the knives in lots of 5 (more or less). I bought these knives from Ivan "Modoc" Jackson of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Ivan said he fishes for elderly Indians and in return he is given a knife. Each description below is based on what Ivan has said. He lives in the traditional Modoc way, is a recognized artist in the Pacific Northwest. The knives are priced lower than store prices which will remain on each knife. Reading from left to right1. Modoc hunting knife w/ bowie type blade, bleeder groove. 2. Modoc knife, mark Shapleigh1843, hammer forged, skinner, old hickory 3. Modoc skinner knife, s. Birkenw (?) 3576 Dexter, Portland 4. old Modoc butcher knife for bone joints, steel rivets 5.old Modoc butcher knife, Ontario knife co. U.S.A. hickory, 6. old Modoc, hand forged, can't read mark. These are old knives and have definitely been well used, but are a bit of history.
