A Surrey oak longcase clock of slim proportions. An arched hood pediment surmounted by 3 brass finials. Brass capped fluted hood columns. An attractive square painted dial with floral corners and blued steel hands. A 30 hour duration mechanism strking the hours on a bell.
James Reeves of Capel is recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working in 1839.
