Handsome complete set of C.1851,actually written as seen in C.1845 English novels titled "Bulwers Novels" by Edward Bulwer Lytton,known as Lord Lytton. Two books housing 5 novels with wine colored leather spine and corners,gold tooling lettering and design. Marbleized covers front and back as well as the interior jacket. Top page edges in gilt. Printed in NY by John Lovell Co. The five novels are titled "Night and Morning,Godolphin,Last of the Barons, Oaldereux and Pausanias,The Spartan". Beautiful black and white illustrations throughout both books. The interiors are in excellent condition,slight wear to the leather on spine upper and lower edges. Measure 7.5H X 4.25L X 1.75D each.
