The Lions Club International's 35th annual convention was held June 25-28, 1952 in Mexico City, Mexico. This is a momento from that gathering. While the piece is roughly made, it is in remarkably good condition. There are under-glaze malformations, but the interesting thing is that the gold is not damaged at all. There is a small chink in the lion's mouth, which is the only real damage to the piece.
