Linke Signed Louis XV Style Vitrine Display Cabinet

Unavailable

This lovely vitrine by Francois Linke (1855-1946) on cabriole legs has a serpentine shape, rouge marble top and extensive gilt bronze mounts including swags, cherubs, and female masks at the corners. It is distinguished for its three Vernis Martin panels. It has its original working lock and key, and red velvet lining, plus an electrified ceiling lamp behind semi-opaque glass. Marble top was recently expertly repaired. It measures 58" tall, 25.5" wide and 14.75" deep. Condition is excellent. There are no losses to the mounts and only some light scratches to the finish here and there. It is signed " F LINKE PARIS " on the top (under marble), and the lock on the interior is signed " CT LINKE PARIS ". Additional images forwarded upon request. ( hantiques )
