Lil Imp with tag in original box
This cute little doll is from the Vogue Doll Co. and is called Lil Imp. It was only made from 1959-1960, and in this Elf outfit it was only made in 1959. It is known for its bright orange hair, green eyes and freckles. Its outfit is green felt vest, hat and boots over an orange and white striped knit jumpsuit that has a moth hole on its rear end. The rest of it is in very good condition with its original black belt and trimmed with a bell on each boot and one on the end of its pixie hat. She has nice pink cheeks and eyes that open and close and jointed knees. The box has a faint stale air smell. The original box has paper damage on the end and says Lil Imp #4220, Ginny Doll Family. It is clean on the inside with a small tear at the corner. From her wrist hangs the original tag that is special to find on any doll. This unusual doll is one of the harder to find dolls of the 1950's.
