Lighter type Doctors medicine container. Dr. Ames carried this for many years in Michigan. It was kept in his pocket for emergency use. It contains a syringe and 3 glass vials that would have held medicine. It is well worn, the needles are not here and one of the little glass vials is missing as well. It has 3 vials, and one wire with a little loop on end of it (might have been for removing something in eye??) and the syringe. Case measures 1 1/2 x 3 x 5/8"" Case is worn, but everything else is excellent condition Aprox age late 1800's
