Antique Piano Chair Charles Parker Company Swivel Adjustable Seat
The Charles Parker Company was Established in 1877-1900
This is a rare, unique, solid wood, piano chair by the Charles Parker Co., of Meriden, Connecticut. According to the Meriden Historical Society this is thought to be Style 1180 from the Charles Parker Co. 1911 catalog.
This is an exceptional Piano chair with beautiful rich wood grain that appears to be Maple wood; it has a tall back that offers support and comfort while playing the piano. Unlike most piano stools, this has a straight ladder back and is an actual chair, not just stool. It features solid wood buttons that trim the edge of the seat and back panels in as a border. The chair is easy to adjust you simply turn the seat in a circular motion until you achieve the desired height which makes this the perfect seat for every pianist. This is a very attractive well-built chair, with solid constructions and has the metal base with company name Charles Parker Company engraved on the plate.
If you're a piano player looking for a one of a kind seat, this is it, defiantly a real conversation piece and piece of history.
