A classic pair of original early 19th Century Brass Lemon Top Andirons with slipper feet and spurred legs in a style associated with Boston. Andirons in this style have been found with the label of John Molineux who worked in Boston between 1806 & 1829. The log stops are brass and match the andirons. The initials D.H. are stamped on the iron billet bars. No maker of andirons known to us has these initials and these initials may either be those of the maker or their owner. They are in excellent original condition with no repairs and they polished but not lacquered. 19-1/2" H. X 11" X 19-1/2" D. These are one of many pairs of andirons in our extensive inventory. We accept time payments and quantity discounts. ** WE GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF OUR MERCHANDISE AS REPRESENTED.
