LaVigne & Scott Pocket Wrench 5 inch Sandow

$34.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice, clean, straight adjustable Bicycle wrench not marked by maker, but is the same as The Sandow, by LaVigne & Scott Mfg. Co. New Haven CT, patented in Feb. 5, 1895. This one is 5" long fully closed, it is straight, has a straight handle, the jaws align faily well, and the adjustment is in good working order, with some wear on the threaded nut. There is minor wear and even pitting over 100% of the wrench surface area are noted, some tiny dings noted. The jaw edges show very minor wear. Basically a sheet metal side binding the wrench main body together using rivets. All the rivets are all there, one is a bit loose on one side, but holding firm on the other side. A nice small pocket adjustable wrench, one of the few I've seen like it! This is a reference Schultz No. 109-C.
