Small art book details the life and work of Toulouse-Lautrec. Printed in Switzerland by Skira Inc. in 1953, this volume is the third of the collection and contains biographical and critical studies by Jacques Lassaigne, translated by Stuart Gilbert. Profusely illustrated with 50 tipped in color reproductions. White buckram cloth with red lettering and a full color glossy dustjacket (very light edge wear) is further protected by a blank slipcase. Hinge is tight and text is clean & intact. 121 pages. Numbered 147 with a flyleaf that reads "Imprinted especially for The Manning Studios, Inc. to be presented to our good friend J.F. Spencer at this Christmas Time Nineteen hundred and fifty three." The name and number are handwritten in maroon ink.
