A late 19th century Dutch tin glaze tile with beautifully elaborate corner motifs in cobalt decoration surrounding a symmetrical floral design done in manganese purple. The tile measures 5.25" square and is in very good/excellent condition with minor edge nicks,light wear to upper right corner and a spot of glaze loss in the cobalt oxhead decoration at upper right as shown. The whole has been overglazed with a bright glossy glaze. Please write with any questions you may have.
