Pretty advertising demitasse or child's spoon from the Larkin Soap Company of Buffalo, New York.
The handle shows the globe atop a pedestal marked LARKIN, accented by a cherub. This design was taken from a detail of the Larkin Administration Building, one of the masterpieces by Frank Lloyd Wright.
On the back is the company motto: "From Factory to Family." Larkin was a pioneering mail order company that sold direct to consumers.
Unmarked silverplate.
Measures 4-1/4 inches long.
Very good condition. No damage or repairs. Only some slight scratching from use and age.
Circa early 1900s.
