This fabulous mid-century copper platter by Arpad Rosti (1909- 1999) features acid-etched and patinated decoration depicting an abstract sky with clouds and bird (or bat?). Rear has hardened adhesive residue and cardboard apparently from when the plaque was mounted. Rosti was active in the 1950s and 1960s and worked in ceramics, enamel and metal. Measures 23.75 in (60.3 cm) tall, 42.5 in (108 cm) wide, and 3 in (7.6 cm) deep. ( za- mod vintage mid-century hungarian )
