Ornate large biscuit or cookie jar w/rattan handle. The pattern in relief is geometric checkered diamonds & a vine pattern in the plain squares. The details are hand painted in rust, black & blue. The "knobs" on sides to hold handle are square. One has a chip off the bottom of one of the corners as in photo. Stamped in black "Japan" & impressed "KKS957" on bottom. The bottom has discoloration but light & nothing appears on rest of jar. Very nice!
