Very nice Victorian brooch - a large oval locket with glass front and back which can be opened to insert your loved one’s photo, or lock of hair or whatever you wish. Gold plated mount in excellent condition except for one little decorative ball, which has been reattached a little crudely. The pin at the rear is not the original. Measures 61 mm by 51 mm (2.3/8 inches by just over 2 inches). Circa 1880s-90s.
