This is a beautiful Empire style mahogany bookcase with fabulous ormolu mounts. It has been crafted from flame mahogany and is in excellent condition, and we have French polished it to bring out it's original splendour.
It sits on solid ormolu feet, ormolu is gilded bronze, and is smothered in mounts reminescent of the Empire style that emanated from Egyptian influences.
The shelves are adjustable.
