Large cruet art pottery jug. I have seen a lot of this type of jug holding wine or olive oil, but this is my first to see in these colors. Very pretty, earth tone coloring with greens that almost look like moss, & a yellow brown that looks like sand. Very pretty combination. The clay is yellow & suggests the Ohio pottery companies, probably RRP from the 1950 or 60 era. This would have originally had a cork stopper. It is in mint condition, but has one manufacture flaw as a piece of clay is stuck on the side & glazed over. You can't see it, you can feel it if you run your fingers around the pitcher. This will make a wonderful vase to hold daisy's or another type of flower. 8 1/4 x 3 1/4 aprox size.
