La Canada was a small pottery located in Southern California in the town of Newhall from the late 1930s- the 1950s. They hand made all their pottery and were known for the lovley soft matte glazes and relaxed forms of their pottery. This low bowl is 2" high and 8" across. In excellent condition and fully marked. (not all were marked) This is La Canada's #21. The pottery is remarkably thin and light with an obvious hand thrown look.
