For Sale I have a Lovely Art Glass Vase made by Wilhelm Kralik of Bohemia. This is now modern day Czech Republic. The Vase is quite large and Bulbous. The Vase Depicts Reeds of Seagrass flowing from the bottom to the top of the Vessel. This is very much how you would see them on the bottom of the Ocean Floor. The Reeds are blown in Green with a Cobalt Blue outer border. Some of the Sea Grass is Folded Over as it would naturally be in Nature. These are set against a Peach or Salmon Clear Background Glass. The Style of this Vase reminds me of the Paperweight Technique that L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile made famous at the turn of the Century. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no real issues to report. There isn't even a Flea nick to the top Rim. This is the one area that almost always has some sort of negative. I am proud to report none. There are a few very tiny scratches 1/4" long in the background glass. These can only be seen by holding the glass at an angle to the light. The piece is signed with the known Kralik half round or arched "Czechoslovakia" etched signature. Wilhelm Kralik Sohn, a Bohemian glassworks company operated in what is now Lenora, in the Czech Republic.
