THIS EXQUISITE BISQUE FIGURINE
DATES FROM ABOUT 1910-1925.
it originally belonged to King Farouk
of Egypt. After Farouk went into exile,
it was catalogued and sold by Southeby's
in 1952., (more than 60 yrs. ago).
Magazines and Newspapers named
reported the sale as 'THE SALE OF THE
CENTURY'. (Farouk had a fabulous
...vast collection). The manufacturer
mark's are blurred on the base, and
a small paper tag with appraisal value
and identification of the figurine has
been lost. WE CONTACTED AN
APPRAISAL GROUP HOPING THEY
COULD IDENTIFY THE MAKER. BUT
THEY COULD NOT. The VERY EXCELLENT
QUALITY OF THIS FIGURINE TELLS US THAT
IT WAS MADE BY ONE OF THE WORLD'S
