Transfer decorated porcelain beaker celebrating the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902. The decoration features portraits of the monarchs along with the recumbent lion and the Imperial crown. The decoration also includes roses, thistles and shamrocks representing the united kingdoms of England, Scotland and Ireland. Edward was not an especially popular monarch and his coronation souvenirs are not terribly common.

Origin: England, 1902. Condition: wear to the gilding along the upper rim; a 3/4" hairline at the rim on one side and a small flake on the bottom rim (not visible from the side. Size: 4-1/8" tall.
