24" KESTNER 196: Lovely 24" Kestner 196 with fur eyelashes. Lovely pale bisque with deep rose cheek coloring. Open mouth with teeth and the unusual feature of inserted fur eyebrows, (rarely does the fur still exist). This dimpled cutie has expressive blue sleep swirl paperweight eyes. Original jointed german body. Sweet blonde mohair wig. Beautifully dressed in a brown velvet outfit with lots of lace and a lovely brown velvet bonnet. Stands 24" tall and is a really beauty. Small 2" crack in jointed body on butt. Wig has been glued on with elmers glue. Great large Kestner with all the extras. Circa 1910. Superb.
